i feel so relieved now that there's no more work!! i can now just relax and worry about school......although these past few days, with no work....and nothing to do after school (after 1pm every day basically)......i find that i'm kinda lazy   haha......oh well.  i'm enjoying it for now at least!

on my last day of work too, i was buying this drink and the lady who owned the little snack shop was like, you're in college....do u want to work here?  lol...she was desperate for a new employee since one of hers (my friend) was moving to the other side of the island and was gonna hafta quit.  BUT....had 2 turn her down.  haha...man.....but who knew u could get a job so easily? 

 anyways......hope my mom wins lots and lots of money in vegas (she's there right now).  she comes back on friday and maybe....with all her winnings........she can buy me a really great birthday present....  haha.....JUST KIDDING.  hey, i'm not "that" conceided am i?

SO.....I finally gave my 2 weeks!  only one week left then i can finally b free of all the drama at work.  then i can help my dad....concentrate on school...relax...etc...etc.  i'm def. looking forward to it.

on another note, i've decided that i'm lost in life.  i just don't know n e thing n e more.  this sucks

finals start 2morrow   yesterday was such an "emotionally weird" day.  i had a looooong very emotional talk w/ my 2 roomies.  i'm gonna miss them sooo much when i leave  but it'll all b for the best.  then, we comforted one of my roomies because right after our looong discussion, her boyfriend called and they broke up.  so that was another tear filled discussion.  then, before we were all going to sleep, we had another discussion about a couple of our floormates.  a while back, there was a halloween party that a couple of our floormates and one of their friends went to.  we heard some stuff about it, but things didn't all "click" w/ the whole story until last night. ex-basketball player floor-mate is a player and so sleezy to take advantage of ppl (well....girl) when they're obviously "outta it." so yea, that was interesting.  then we all fell asleep and wouldn't u know.....were PLEASANTLY awoken at 5:40 in the fricken morning to the LOUD sound of the irritating fire alarm.  someone pulled it (dumb ass) so everyone had to go outside, in the cold, in their P.J.'s and wait for an hour and 20 minutes!!! for the fire truck ppl to come and turn it off.  BUT, it was malfunctioning, so it took FOREVER and a day. well, we ended up going into another dorm and falling asleep in the lounge until everyone started leaving, so we woke up, came back to our room and all fell asleep again.  by this time, it was 7:15 am.  my alarm was set for 8am so i could wake up, go to the library and study.  well.  i was just too tired, so i turned it off and woke up at 10 instead.  we went and got breakfast, then i went to the math center to get help on some stuff because my math final's tomorrow night   so, i got there and was all excited because it wasn't a math TA that was helping ppl, but a real teacher.  plus, like no one was there, so i woulda had all this extra attention/help.  well, i took out all my stuff and wouldn't u know....instead of my math folder, i brought my stinkin philosophy folder, so i didn't have my practice final thing that i needed help with.  so...i just came back here.  it's only 11:30 and my day's already been so....uneventful.  but i'm going to lunch in a bit at the Old Spagetti Factory with one of my roomies, so hopefully it'll b all good from now on.

9 more days!!! i'm so excited.  i talked 2 my sister on sunday and she was telling me all about her tree and how she got it the night before and spent forever decorating it.  (she's such the martha stewart when it comes 2 anything christmas....)  and she said that my house looks soooo not festive rite now.  my mom used the excuse that she's waiting till i come home to make christmas complete and for her to get in the spirit.  then i talked to my dad and kinda whined about it and he said that once he gets home from his business trip that he'd go and get a tree.  then, knowing my sister, it'll be all decorated by the time i get home

my daddy's comin 2 visit me 2morrow!!  i know, kinda strange since i'll b home soon anyways rite?  but he's on his way back from a business trip, so he's just gonna make a stop in portland and take me out to lunch and dinner.  yay for real food!

oh, and if anyone who reads this knows any info bout mil ball....lemme know please k?  cuz i'm kinda in out field rite now.
